John Henry Johnson

John Henry Johnson, 80, of Ridgeland, South Carolina passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Henry was born on May 21, 1943 in Hampton, South Carolina to the late Mack Johnson and Virginia Smith Johnson. Henry retired from Kleckley Gas Company as a LP gas technician. He was a Baptist who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching racing and wrestling on TV. He loved his parrot, George.

Henry is survived by his daughters, Judy Hanney of Ridgeland, SC, Angela Daggett of Beaufort, SC, Consuella Daggett of Point South, SC; brother, Olin (Barbara) Johnson of Ridgeland, SC; nine grandchildren, Kayla, Stephanie, Brittany, Elisa, Crystal, Randi, Jason, Tyler, and John; as well as six great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Branch Johnson, brothers, R.A. Johnson and Lloyd Smith and sisters, Patricia Johnson and Marion Dobson.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home in Ridgeland, South Carolina with burial to follow at Ridgeland Cemetery.
