John Anthony Pelletiere

John Anthony Pelletiere, 93, of Bluffton, SC passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA.

John was born September 28, 1929 in Bronx, NY to the late John Pelletiere and Rose Pestone Pelletiere. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a longtime member and President of the Sons of Italy in Suffern, NY.

John is survived by his wife, Josephine Santanastasio Pelletiere; daughter, Susan Grilli(Mike) of Bluffton; daughter Joanmarie Bolding (Jim) Townville, SC; Grandchildren Melissa VanOrden (John), Danny VanOrden (Zalima), Jessica Sinclair (Jim) and Kelly Adamson (Matt) and Great Grandchildren Noah VanOrden, Abdillah VanOrden and Elle Sinclair.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Dr., Bluffton. The family will receive friends 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Monday, September 4, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. Burial will follow on Friday September 8th at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx, NY.
