Johnnie Ann Oestreich

Johnnie Ann Oestreich, age 77, of Bluffton and wife of Wayne L. Oestreich passed away on March 1, 2020 at her home with by her husband by her side. Johnnie Ann was born on March 10, 1943 in Raleigh, NC to the late Leamon Byrum and Flo Stevenson Byrum.

She enjoyed her family life with her husband; raising her daughters and watching her grandchildren become parents. She loved traveling, especially trips to see family, Vegas and Cruises were also among her favorites. She was an avid golfer and shopper. She loved her dogs, Coco (deceased last year) and Brandy her new joy. She also loved her weekly red rose that her husband gave her every week of their marriage. We will all miss her wonderful spirit, sense of humor and that smile.

Johnnie Ann is survived by her husband of 44 years; her daughters, Beverly Ann Scott and her husband, Mario of Erwin, NC and Amanda Lee Harris of Henderson, NC; her brother in law, Roger Oestreich and his wife, Dot of Ft. Myers, FL; his sister in law, Faye Jean Schneider of Appleton, WI; her sister, Reba McGeorge of Safety Harbor, FL; her grandchildren, Dylan Jenkins and his wife, Allie of Chesapeake, VA; Lindsay Gay and her husband, Matt of Walstonburg, NC: great grandchildren, Hailynn Ann Jenkins of Chesapeake, VA and Owens and Cope Gay of Walstonburg, NC along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at her home soon. Johnnie Ann will be interred in her family plot in Clearwater, FL at a later date.
