Joyce Herta Pervier died peacefully June 9, 2021 at her home.
Born September 8, 1932 to Eric and Erna Rahmel in Ft William (Thunder Bay), Canada, she grew up in Chicago, Illinois where she met the love of her life, James Pervier. Together they traveled the world – living in Atlanta Georgia, Allentown Pennsylvania, Milan Italy, London England, Wallingford Pennsylvania, Bridgewater New Jersey and West Chester Pennsylvania before settling in Bluffton, South Carolina. Joyce was a firm believer in giving back to the community and volunteered innumerable hours to Meals on Wheels and Bluffton Area Charities, better known as Calhoun Station.
A resident of Rose Hill Plantation for 37 years, she is survived by her loving daughters Cynthia Pervier, Pamela (Donald) LaRue; three devoted grandsons, Scott (Kristen) LaRue, Dale (Jennifer) LaRue, and James (Madeline Leuby) LaRue; and two great grandchildren Charlotte Blake LaRue and Brooks Scott LaRue.
