Judy Valerie Rutledge (Grams) of Sun City, Bluffton, SC, at the age of 77, passed on to the hands of God. She was the loving wife of Mike Grams for 35 wonderful years. She is further survived by her sister, Brenda Olech (Ron) of Sun City Bluffton; son, Kenneth; sister-in-law, Barbara Loehrer of West Bend, WI; and Dennis Grams of Darien, WI; nieces and nephews, Mathew Olech, Alison Kelley, Christine Grams, Joseph Grams, and Noah Grams; and grand-nieces and nephew, Brittany and Angelina Cheng and Deaglan Kelley.
Judy, a native South Carolinian, returned to South Carolina 12 years ago. She was loved by family and friends alike, always having a smile on her face. She loved golf, playing cards, traveling and eating out at the wonderful restaurants in the area. She was also an excellent joke teller.
Judy was the daughter of John and Frances Rutledge. Her ancestors were Edward and John Rutledge, signers of the Declaration of the Independence and Constitution, respectively. She was an honors graduate of Aiken High School in Aiken, SC. Her working career started as an administrative assistant and ended as a manager of Human Resources for a large manufacturing firm in Milwaukee, WI.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home. A reception will be scheduled at a later date.
