Leonard Campi Obituary

In loving memory of Leonard A Campi, we celebrate his life and we are very grateful that he was part of our lives. He graced us with his compassion and sense of humor. Leonard was born in Philadelphia on March 27 1934. After serving in the army during the Korean War he went to cosmetology school and was a hairstylist in Philadelphia for many years. He is survived by his one and only love Rita and his two children, Leonard H Campi and Dr Geralyn Campi Slota Leonard H. and his wife Erin reside in Haddon Heights, NJ with their 2 daughters, Sophia and Bella. Geralyn and her husband Dr. Paul Slota live in Fort Mill, SC. They have 4 children: Alexandra, Paul, Elisabeth and Luke. Leonard A. was affectionately known as Poppy. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids. In his younger years he was an avid fisherman. Poppy enjoyed weekend trips, cooking (his signature meat and rice dish) and eating all things chocolate. He would never turn down a good hot dog and beer. He used to grow the best tomatoes and beans. He liked the Eagles and Phils and ND. He enjoyed learning about history and listening to classical music. Pop always had a good story. He even had a special place in his heart for all our doggies. Leonard passed away at home on October 6, 2020. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed but always in our hearts and prayers. God bless you Pop.
