Marcelino V. Rabara

Marcelino Vallejos Rabara, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 12:25pm at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Florencia, his children, Annie and Mars, and his nieces, Gigi Balagtas and Jean Jagers.

He was born on September 22nd in Rosales, Philippines. He grew up and lived majority of his life in the Philippines before moving to the United States with his family. He resided in Rockville, MD with his family until retiring in Ridgeland, SC with his wife.

He was a loving husband, father and brother who worked hard to provide for his family. He was patient, generous, understanding, selfless and would always put others first. He enjoyed keeping busy by taking care of the things and people he loved, which included his home, garden, cars, and most of all, his beloved wife, Florencia.

A viewing will be held at 9:30am on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton, SC and will be followed by a mass at 10:30am. Family and friends are welcome to attend to celebrate Marcelino’s life.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support, thoughts and prayers during this time.
