Marilyn Ruth (Whitney) Gemme

Marilyn Ruth (Whitney) Gemme entered eternal life in the early hours of January 14,2021 at home in Sun City, Bluffton, SC.  She was the much-loved wife of Ronald L. Gemme of Sun City, Bluffton, SC.

She is survived by her Husband of 46 years, Her Brother Richard P. Whitney and his wife Mary of Bluffton. S.C., her Brother Stephen C. Whitney and his wife Nancy of Millbury, MA and Her Sister Cynthia Noble and her Husband Dr. George Noble of Longboat Key, FL, as well as multiple nieces and nephews scatter from Phoenix, AZ to New England, New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida.

Marilyn spent her life in service to others.  She held a BSN from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI and a Masters of Science from Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL

She held various position in healthcare from Staff to Executive positions.  She always practiced her skills with warm feeling and much respect for the patients she served.

She was and active member of Low Country Presbyterian Church.

Through out her life she mastered many advocations, skiing, sailing, boating, scuba diving and finally golf.  Always sharing the love of these skills with her husband.

She was a light in this dark world and will be greatly missed
