Nancy Tuten Crews, 74 of Estill, SC and widow of James R. Crews Sr. passed away on June 11, 2022 at her home after a brief illness.
Nancy was born in Furman, SC on December 1, 1947 to the late Donald Tuten and Gladys Long Tuten.
Nancy was a Paramedic for the Hampton County EMS retiring after 25 years of service. She was one of four paramedics hired when Hampton County began their EMS services. She was the former Post Mistress at the Furman, SC Post Office; a member of the West End Baptist Church in Hampton; played the piano for Luray Christian Church; enjoyed reading and freshwater fishing and playing the piano.
Nancy is survived by her son, James Richard Crews, Jr. (fiancée, Cheryl Bartlett); grandchildren, Kayla Ayer, Justin Sauls, Meagan Sauls and Jordan Crews; and great grandchildren, Trenton Ayer and Trey Ayer.
In addition to her husband, Nancy was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Boyles; her brother, Robert Tuten and her sister, Blanche Rivers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Furman Baptist Church, 121 Rabon Street, Furman, SC with burial to follow at Stafford Cemetery, Pineland, SC.
