Nancy Lee Hocker Russell Knorr

Nancy Lee Hocker Russell Knorr entered into eternal rest May 11, 2023, with family and her Pruitt Hospice Nurse by her side.

Nancy was born in Philadelphia, PA to Robert and Pauline Hocker.  She had a beloved older brother, Robert (Bob) Hocker.

Nancy enjoyed school and often spoke of being a gymnast at Bartram High School in Philadelphia, PA.  She enjoyed summers in Wildwood, NJ.Nancy married John Russell in June 1960 and together they had two children, Scott Russell (Mary Kay Russell) and Linda Kreisel.  Nancy had five grandchildren whom she loved more than anything in this world.  Ian Lanni (Chrissy Ferro), Ben Russell (Kalvin Benfield), Lindsay Russell, Hunter Kreisel, and Christian Kreisel.

Amongst her loves were her nieces and nephews, Susan Hartel (Ed Hartel), Nancy Plank (George Plank), Amy Guilian (Karl Guilian), William Hocker (Laura Hocker), Dennis Hocker (Lynn Hocker), David Hocker (Judy Hocker).  As well as their numerous and lovely children.

 Nancy had many friends and never met a stranger.  She would extend love and welcoming to all.

Nancy spent many happy years working at Westside Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, NJ.  As well as Ryder Integrated Logistics in West Chester, PA. then in Charlotte, NC.  Nancy also loved volunteering at Bluffton Self Help in Bluffton SC, where she was awarded volunteer of the year.

Nancy had a strong belief in God and Christ as her Savior, and we know she is rejoicing in Heaven.
