Patty Iris Reed

Patty Iris Reed, 83, of Bluffton, SC, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024. She was born on July 21, 1941, in Ironton, Ohio, to Delbert and Bonnie Pemberton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Derek Scott Reed.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband, Larry L. Reed of Bluffton, SC; her loving daughter, Lori (David) Trapani of Hilton Head Island, SC; and her cherished grandchildren, Brian (Trish) Stoner of Dayton, OH; Alexandra (Davis) Brainard of Atlanta, GA; and Ava Womble of Charleston, SC. She also leaves behind her niece, Melissa (Jim) White of Fairborn, OH; her nephew, Lewis (Rose) Reed of Xenia, OH; and her precious great-granddaughters, Marley and Adeleigha Stoner of Dayton, OH.

A graduate of South Point High School, Patty had a fulfilling career as an Administrative Assistant, dedicating many years of service to First Baptist Church and Fairborn City Schools. She and her husband were active members of First Baptist Church, where she found great joy in her faith and community.

Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a passion for gardening, treasured her Bible studies, and enjoyed playing card games with family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her.
