Roberta Hickman Bennett age 92, of Hardeeville, SC and widow of her beloved husband, Harold I. Bennett Sr., passed away on June 28th at Ridgeland Nursing Center.
Roberta was born on September 10, 1927 to the late Lila and Eugene Hickman of Walterboro, SC.
Roberta, as everyone knew, had a strong and passionate charisma. She was a hard worker, devoted friend, and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her strength and fortitude is what made her a steady influence in her years of service at The Holiday Inn in Hardeeville and her cherished church, New Life ARP, also in Hardeeville.
She is survived by her sons, Hal I. Bennett, Jr. (Jeanie) of Saluda, NC; Charles M. Bennett (Elaine) of Hardeeville, SC; five grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
