Ronald Louis Rossi

August 30, 2023, Ronald (Ron) Louis Rossi, 86, of Bluffton, SC passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Carole (Rossi) at his side.

Ron was born August 26, 1937, in Detroit, MI to the late Louis Joseph Rossi and Ida Fortuna Rossi.  Ron grew up in Detroit.  He attended University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy for high school and college, where he studied civil engineering.  He served in the Air Force Reserves. 

Ron and Carole resided in Northville, MI with their children Mark and Stephanie.  In 2001, Ron retired and moved to Bluffton.  He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, visiting over 50 countries. He was active in the Crescent community, serving on the board of directors and committees.  He also volunteered with several St. Gregory building projects.

Ron is survived by his wife, Carole Rossi (Klancnik) son Mark Rossi (Sidney) daughter Stephanie Rossi (John) and granddaughter Ashlyn.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family.  He truly loved each of them.  Ron had a big heart and cared for everyone (except bad drivers).  When his time came, he carried himself with strength, humility, dignity and love for those who were important in his life.  He will be missed dearly.

Memorial visitation will be held at Sauls Funeral Home from 3 to 5 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, September 15, 2023 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, in Bluffton.
