Sharon Lee Lambert passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 51 after a long journey with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her spirit by living their lives to the fullest.
Sharon enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She appreciated a day at the beach, listening to her favorite music or just an evening of dinner and drinks with family and friends. She was a nurse and a lifelong caregiver, open to giving advice to others and was very knowledgeable about alternative health and healing, such as energy, stones and essential oils. Sharon had a great love of travel and adventure. She always dreamed of living on an island near the ocean, which she was able to fulfill by moving to Hilton Head Island. She had a great love of plants and animals, especially bulldogs. Her great sense of humor, whit and beautiful, yet sometimes mischievous smile brought love, light and laughter to all in her presence.
Sharon obtained her degree in 1993 as a Registered Nurse at Kennebec Valley Technical College in Fairfield, Maine and worked for many years in senior living at MaineGeneral in Augusta, Maine. Most recently she worked as the managing nurse for Beaufort Memorial Express Care in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Sharon is survived by her life partner, Karen Nevers, her three children, Trevor Kervin, Chelsea Lambert and Julia Lambert, her mother Kathy Mullen, sisters Jessica Mullen and Jeri Hume.
Sharon did not want a funeral instead she wanted a celebration of life which will be held privately here and in Maine at a later date.
