Stephany Marie Roberson, aged 53, passed away February 2nd, 2021, after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was born to the late Gary and Ruth Ann Roberson on December 14th, 1967. She attended Hilton Head High School and graduated in 1986. After graduating, Stephany went straight into the workforce.
She is survived by one daughter, Makayla Broome, and a sister and a niece: Amanda Biggs and her daughter Jordan Biggs. She is also survived by the entirety of the Broome family, most notably Virginia Broome, who took care of Stephany like she was her own daughter, and Virginia’s son, Michael Broome, who never stopped loving her, no matter what.
Stephany was nothing short of an amazing mother and a wonderful human being. She dedicated her life to providing a healthy and happy home for her daughter. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Stephany always described her as a “gentle and compassionate soul.” Stephany was always willing to bend over backwards for someone, even if she knew she would get nothing in return. Her focus in life was the growth and progress of her daughter, and she often encouraged her to reach for the moon. She enjoyed collecting all her daughter’s art, whether it be a piece of pottery or a small poem. When she wasn’t working or spending time with her daughter, Stephany loved nothing more than to pop in a movie, get comfortable, and pick up a book.
There will be a private family service held at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC February 11th, 2021. The family wishes to thank everyone who has extended emotional and spiritual support to Stephany and her family.
