Susan M. Mikolaitis

Susan M Mikolaitis, age 75, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in her son’s home in Rehoboth Beach, De. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Susan was born on September 27, 1947 in Chester, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Avondale, Pennsylvania, where she began her career as a hairstylist. Being a hairstylist was her true passion throughout her entire career. She loved making people smile and feel beautiful, both in life and behind her chair. She became a true master of her craft and continued doing hair until she turned the age of 74, when she retired. Outside of being a hairstylist, Susan just loved having a good time and spending time with her family and the people in her life that she loved with all her heart. She was truly a unique and amazing lady. Susan preceded in death by her husband Jerome Mikolaitis. Susan is survived by her sons, Stephan Maybroda, Michael Maybroda, George Maybroda, friend and sister, Lee Cecala , Billy Middleton (like a son), Stan Wojcik (like a son), Daughter in Law, Jackie Maybroda, , Granddaughters, Heather Campbell , Alysha Maybroda and  Julia Maybroda, Grandsons, Zane Maybroda, Zenek Maybroda, and Jaxson Maybroda. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. And there will be a celebration of life for Susan immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Delaware Hospice at www.delawarehospice.org
