Susan Jane Cwik Obituary

Susan Jane Cwik, Age 78 of Bluffton, South Carolina. Born in Oakland City, Indiana on October 5, 1941, passed away on March 7, 2020. A loving, caring person who loved coaching and playing tennis. She spent countless hours playing on the court, teaching younger players and coaching her Sun City Team. She also loved gardening, painting and conducted extensive, international travel. Finally, she was an usher at the Church of the Cross and passionately volunteered time and talents at their Christ centered thrift store.

Jane received dual undergraduate degrees in both business and education from Indiana University at Bloomington. She excelled in her business career at Marshall Fields Department Stores and Kraft Foods prior to becoming a full time mother. She took great pride in raising and growing three young boys into outstanding, accomplished men. Jane lived her life with great courage and determination. She overcame every obstacle and was an inspiration to all who knew her. We will all miss her wonderful spirit, love and energy.

Jane, the beloved wife of the late Larry Stephen and former wife of the late Ronald Cwik. Jane was a loving, devoted mother of three sons. The late Joseph Cwik with wife Theresa Westfallen and grandson Mark Cwik. David Cwik with wife Carrey Cwik (nee McCall) and grandsons Matthew Cwik, Andrew Cwik and granddaughter Elizabeth Cwik. And her final son, Dan Cwik. Beloved brother of Gordon (Eileen) Fitch. And sister in law of Carol Petty (nee Cwik).

A true friend, devoted follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrated to all who loved him how to live with dignity and grace up until the moment she left us due to heart and lung trauma.
