Thomas Golden Obituary

Thomas E. Golden, 66, of Bluffton, SC passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home.

Thomas was born January 5, 1957 in Elmira, NY to Beatrice Niemi Golden and the late Theodore Lee Golden. Tom spent much of his life in Schuyler County, NY graduating from Horseheads Senior High School with the Class of 1975 and further attending Corning Community College in the nursing program. He called Watkins Glen, NY his hometown before moving to the Lowcountry of South Carolina in 1999. Tom was a caring ambulance paramedic, ER Nurse, and devoted educator and long term care administrator. However, there was nothing he loved more than his dogs. He touched, taught and inspired so many lives and is greatly loved and missed by all..

Thomas is survived by his mother, Beatrice Golden of Pine Valley, NY; his partner of 23 years, Keith Knoll of Bluffton; brothers, Terry Golden (Debbie) of Big Flats, NY, twin, Tim Golden of Horseheads, NY, and Michael Golden (Vicki) of Cleveland, TN; sister, Tammy Golden of Horseheads, NY; nieces and nephews, Brad, Jamie, Aaron, Amanda, Katilynn, and Joe; and his four-legged companions, Skylar, Marble, Nicole, and Heidi.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Golden.
