Thomas Weber Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas Weber, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Thomas, known affectionately as Tom, left us on September 3, 2023 due to a heart attack. His unexpected departure has left a void in our lives that can never be filled, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Born in the state of Washington, Tom's adventurous spirit led him on a remarkable journey through life. He grew up in Michigan, a place he held dear to his heart, and it was there that he developed his deep-rooted love for the University of Michigan, particularly its football team, which he proudly cheered for throughout his life. He earned the honor of 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and received several honors for achievements throughout his time in service. Tom embraced his career as a highly successful business consultant taking on many travels.  He especially cherished his years working in England.

Tom's life was a beautiful love story.  He and his devoted wife, Dorothy Ajalat Weber, spent three glorious years together as a married couple and a total of 11 years as inseparable partners. Their love was a shining example of the power of a strong and enduring bond.

In addition to his loving wife, Tom leaves behind a legacy of family and cherished memories. He was a devoted son to his parents Berde and Marwood Weber, and older sibling to his brothers, Richard Weber and Harry Weber. Tom was a proud father to his sons, Chuck Weber and Todd Weber, and he welcomed bonus daughters Julie Kefi and Beth Ajalat into his life with open arms. His beloved dogs, Cinnamon and Marley, were not just pets but loyal companions who brought him immeasurable joy.

Tom's family tree extended with the arrival of two grandchildren, Justin and Emily, and two great-grandchildren, Mikey and Mason. He cherished these little ones, showering them with love, while creating lasting connections that will continue to bloom in their hearts.

In addition to his immediate family, Tom embraced the role of bonus grandparent to Zak and Ramzi Kefi, extending his love and guidance to them as well. His warm and welcoming presence made him a treasured figure in their lives, and his wisdom and humor left an indelible mark on their hearts.

Throughout his life, Tom's work took him to different corners of the world, but it was his love for Michigan that remained steadfast. As retirement beckoned, he eagerly looked forward to a new chapter in his life. Tom's dream was to settle in South Carolina, a place he had always wanted to call home. There, he planned to embrace the leisurely pursuits of golf, fishing, and socializing with his treasured friends.

Tom had a remarkable gift for storytelling, captivating all those around him with his tales of golfing adventures with his dad and brothers. He took pride in carrying on this tradition by attempting to teach his own family the joys of the game. His culinary skills were legendary, and his wit and knowledge were unparalleled. Tom had a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making him a cherished friend to many.

In the midst of life's changes, Tom was ready to embark on the next phase, supported by his loving wife, Dorothy, and surrounded by the beauty of South Carolina. Though his time with us was tragically cut short, the impact he made on the lives of those who knew him will endure forever.

Thomas Weber will be deeply missed by his family and friends. As we remember the life he lived and the love he shared, may we find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in our hearts and in the memories we hold dear.
