William Pittman Obituary

William Allan Pittman, age 60, passed away at Coastal Carolina Hospital on December 31, 2019.

Mr. Pittman was born in Savannah, GA on April 15, 1959 to Linda Gage Pittman and the late William O. Pittman.

The Pittmans moved to Ridgeland, SC when William was young. He met his wife in Ridgeland, Brenda Kay Hodge, and married in 1996. William and Brenda then moved to Hilton Head Island, where he spent his last 23 years.

William was a family member of the Walmart Group of Hilton Head, where he spent 14 years greeting customers and has been honored at the entrance of Walmart with photos and candles.

In addition to his mother and wife, William is survived by his sister, Donna Pittman and a niece, Debbie Baslor.

Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date and flowers will be provided by Johnson’s Florist of Hilton Head Island.
