After completing his MBA degree, the family of now 5 moved to Baltimore MD, settling in the Ten Hills neighborhood. Bill began his 30 year career with the B & O Railroad (now CSX) as a computer specialist.
After the birth of their 4th daughter, “Farmer Bill” bought Irish Acres, a weekend farm in Emmitsburg MD.
In 1988, after retirement, Bill and Betty Ann moved to Hilton Head, where Bill continued his family ancestry research, producing several books on the subject.

“It’s been a great ride. I had lots of help, a wonderful wife, four beautiful children, and great advice. (Not too bad for a boy who never had a father)” WLS
